When taking an aerial shot of this urban city, the first things you spot are three pointed needles to the sky, Kuwait tower, on Arabian Gulf road.
These towers are considered to be the symbol of Kuwait.
Designed by a Swedish company, the towers and a third pole feeding them with electricity. The tallest tower 187 meters high holds two spheres. The upper sphere has a revolving observation area, with one full turn every half hour, as well as a coffee shop.
The wonder with 96 concealed spotlights another interesting piece of information is that the tops of these towers are finished in a needle shape and the concrete structure itself is made of flaring plasticized, adding to their magic.
Youm albahhar village
Youm albahhar is one of the most visited tradition places that reflect Kuwait’s history and what Kuwaiti life looked like in the old days .
Youm Albahhar is part of 3rd stage of the developments of shuweikh coast, and in the 2nd part of Alwatiyya project in particular. this part stars from Diwaniyat al _ Syyaden , which was rebuilt in the old Kuwaiti style.
Youm albahhar is 5 thousand square meters in area.
Youm Al bahhar village contains 20 traditional handicraft shops and many other old style occupations as the (qalalef). Who made wooden goods , and same sadu shops then three are shops for old Kuwaiti kitchen ware, traditional Kuwait outfits and pottery and naddaf is our cotton goods .
The 3rd part of the whole project will include al qibla traditional diwaniya after it is moved from its old location and it will have a separate entrance . the last phase of the watiyya beach project will include a fountain in the middle , and some old sea equipments a walking zone that be 500 meters , with special lights around it, and a stadium for visitors .
