Step away, it’s time for me to shine 2024

? Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day
Thou art more lovely and more temperate
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines
And often is his gold complexion dimmed
And every fair from fair sometime declines
By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade
When in eternal lines to Time thou grow’st
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee

Shakespeare –

Isn’t there a short statement in which you give us your opinion on this Shakespearean Sonnet
?

(The poet tries to compare his beloved with the Summer’s sun (not our’s unfortunately). This Question (from my point of view

.is rhetorical. The poet only delivers a message to his beloved that she looks like the sun

In Europe the sun vanishes the clouds of gloom. It provides light, and happiness, while summer

brings gentle breeze, warmth, and life. Also the summer refers to the age of his beloved. They are both

energetic and young. But summer isn’t always gentle. It has ups and downs. It sometimes become rough, if you sit near the fire you’ll burn

.so you should teach yourself how to adapt in any given situation to save your relationship

The poet claims that his beloved beauty will never perish so he backs up his opinion by two ideas

.(strong love (which lives till death) and poetry (which lives forever

.thank you for mentioning the reference

Best wishes: Hamad
